At just 4 years old, Sweet Aviana’s world was turned upside down. Mommy and Daddy have been fighting relentlessly to get to the source of what has been keeping their sweet girl sick, but on Valentine’s Day 2023 she was diagnosed with childhood leukemia (acute lymphoblastic leukemia). Over the past year Aviana has been battling with a diagnosis of JIA which has caused every minor cold and fever to be a battle, due to her being immunocompromised. Last week Avi started spiking fevers along with some other concerns so her pediatrician called for labs at the local ER. The labs returned but they still need to investigate further, Avi was then transported to the Children’s Hospital where they have monitored her closely over the past several days. After numerous labs, tests and finally a bone marrow test, Avi was diagnose with Childhood Leukemia. Due to the treatment to her JIA and the medication being a treatment commonly used for cancer, it took longer to confirm the diagnosis as well as causing her body to have a tolerance to is, she will be treated as high risk and undergo aggressive treatment immediately.

This GoFund Me was organized to help with both Medical and Personal expenses, while in the hospital and months to come.

Not only does a cancer diagnosis turn a child’s entire world upside down, but overwhelming medical expenses can add an enormous amount of financial stress on families. Cancer treatment can be very costly—the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation notes that the average hospital stay costs $40,000 for a child with cancer. In addition to treatment, there are other costs that add to the already mounting stack of medical bills, such as food, lodging, and transportation.

Even though Sweet Avi hasn’t been herself the past couple months, no one would have known. Wether it’s dancing around to Hocus Pocus or ballroom twirling in her Princess Gowns, she refuses to let life get her down. 
This Little Princess now needs all the Love, Thoughts, Prayers and as much positive energy as she can get.
