We’re Ars Vallis Ingenium Robotics, a team of curious, creative students from California State University, Fresno who love building things that actually work. From designing circuits to crafting 3D parts, we’re turning imagination into underwater robots that can explore the world beneath the waves.

This year, we're hard at work preparing to compete in the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) competition, held in Newfoundland, Canada. It’s an international stage where students like us get to prove what we can do — presenting our robots, creativity, and problem-solving skills to real engineers and industry experts.

For us, this isn’t just a robotics contest. It’s a hands-on crash course in engineering, teamwork, and leadership. Students take on real-world roles — from Chief Planning Officer to Technical Lead — learning to solve problems, manage projects, and bring ideas to life.

With your help, we can represent the Central Valley on the world stage. Your contribution helps cover equipment, travel, and lodging, ensuring our members have the opportunity to compete. We’re also fundraising through corporate sponsorships, community mixers, and campus events like Vintage Days to make this dream a reality.

We’re starting small but dreaming big. Our goal has almost been reached this year, where we're sitting at a current $16,000 out of $22,000 budget.
