My name is avi blake.. and I honestly never thought I'd be creating a go fund me for me.. but I also never saw myself being diagnosed with cancer.. I went into surgery thinking I was going to get a cyst removed and I came out of surgery to find out it was ovarian cancer. It's been tough not only physically but mentally and now even more financially. I'm creating this go fund me in hopes that I can raise enough money to cover my chemo expenses, scans and testings. As of right now the insurance I have doesn't cover those things and didn't cover my surgery so i had to use my savings to pay for it out of pocket. This has been an unexpected journey for me and it is only the beginning, there will be more test.. more scans.. and 18 weeks of chemo. Due to all of these sudden changes I can't work because of how major my surgery was and I probably won't be able to work through chemo because it's so intense on the body. Anything helps and is truly appreciated.
