Help Me Rebuild for my daughter and I After Military Divorce

After serving in the Navy and working a civilian job in California, I made the difficult decision to leave my career and move to Virginia with my wife, who was on active duty. We wanted to keep our family together as she prepared for her first deployment, and I became the primary caregiver for our 15-month-old daughter, Avery. I did everything I could to support my wife and our family, even as I noticed her growing distant. Despite my efforts to seek counseling and keep our relationship strong, I discovered evidence of multiple affairs while she was deployed. Even after confronting her, she led me to believe we could work things out, all while making plans behind my back. Eventually, she chose to prioritize her new relationship and kicked Avery and me out of military housing so she could keep the housing allowance for herself. I managed to find an attorney, retain primary custody, and secure some child support, but the financial strain has been overwhelming. My wife continued to undermine me, involving others to interfere with childcare and housing, causing even more stress as I tried to rebuild our lives. I returned to work, but lost wages from quitting my job, ongoing legal fees, and the high cost of child care have made it nearly impossible to keep up with bills. As a full-time GI Bill student and Navy reservist, recent government shutdowns have disrupted my pay and schedule, making things even harder. Legal aid is overwhelmed, and I can no longer afford an attorney to help me navigate the complex legal situation and ensure Avery stays with the parent who has always put her first. I probably should have reached out for help sooner, but pride and hope kept me trying to handle things alone. Now, after years of intentional financial and parental undermining, and with the added strain of shutdowns affecting my income, I could really use support. Getting out of a controlling situation was a big step, but there's still so much to repair. I'm just trying to get back on my feet so I can build a safe, happy life for Avery and myself. Anything helps, and I'm grateful for any support or questions. The gym is my only hobby these days outside of being a dad and a homebody. Thank you all in advance for any help you can give.
