Help Avery Get Back on Track: Housing, Her Dogs, and Future

Avery has always been the person you could count on.

Need help watching a friend’s special needs child? She’s there.

Need support at a community event? She shows up — no questions asked.

Need a laugh or a hand during hard times? Avery brings both, freely and fiercely.

Now, it's Avery who needs help.

After bravely walking away from an unsafe situation, she had to leave behind almost everything — her home, her stability, and even temporarily her beloved husky, Ashi. Choosing herself and her health was one of those decisions that most people don't have the strength to do when it comes down to it, but she did. She’s currently living on a couch with her second dog, Cleo, doing everything she can to hold her life together. But there's only so long you can live on a couch.

Avery is just 25 years old and has already completed her massage school training — even while being unhoused. She’s ready to step into her career, start earning, and rebuild everything she’s worked for. But right now, she needs a stable place to live, her dogs back by her side, and the ability to take her licensing exam.
