Hello, thank you for taking the time to read through my cause. Averie Kinsey, 18 years old, is an ambitious, adventurous, and hard working young woman. She recently applied in her dream career field as a firefighter. Amazingly, she made it through the first interview and passed her physical within the top two! She only has one more interview to get through, but tragedy stuck on January 9th, while she was driving home from a dinner with fire department personnel. It was a rainy night, and her tires hit black ice. She unfortunately flew off the freeway into several trees. In a worst case scenario, she luckily came out alive but is dealing with a broken clavicle, head laceration, and many other bumps and bruises. She will need a surgery this week to help put her clavicle back into place which will be about a six to eight week recovery. Even though she will be fresh out of surgery, she is determined to make it to her last interview, next week, with the fire department to show them her resilience. Ironically, they were actually the first responders who transported her to the hospital. Her current job as a certified nurse assistant will be placed on hold while recovering so she will not have an income until pushing through. Not only will she be out of work but her truck was completely totaled so she has no means of transportation. The department she applied to is in a different city (Kellog, ID) than which she resides and the commute is anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour. She is not one to ask for help because she is someone who loves to provide others with such. Please help me to support her during rough times and not allow this to set her back. Anything that you could spare, would be greatly appreciated and would help towards a down payment on a new vehicle and medical bills. Thank you so much for your kind consideration.
