Help Avalee’s battle with cancer

Hello Everyone My name is Omaira and I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my niece Avalee.

On January 6, 2023. My brother and sister in law brought their daughter Avalee to the ER as she had been complaining of leg pain. . Avalee came to her parents saying that she has a lump on her left leg. They immediately went to the Emergency Room.

After 5 days in the hospital and multiple test and labs being performed they found out what was causing this pain in her leg. At 10 years old she found out news that is beyond devastating, news that no child should ever hear. Avalee was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (Bone Cancer). Her and her parents hearts dropped when they found out that news. Avalee has always had grown pains in her legs but no one thought it was anything more than that. .

Avalee is an amazing child, with a big heart. She is always a sweetheart to everyone. No child should ever have to go through something so difficult as cancer. It was especially difficult since she found out a couple of days before her birthday and was put on bed rest immediately.

Avalee has already started Chemotherapy. After she goes through chemotherapy she will then have to undergo surgery to remove the tumor. The doctors mentioned that even though they could treat this type of cancer there is still a possibility in her future that Avalee could get a different type of cancer.
