We are proud to have a diverse team with many socio-economic backgrounds represented; however, this comes with its challenges. Club fees, uniforms, tournament travel and entry fees, etc. are very expensive, and unless we can come up with ways to raise funds to help the players who struggle to pay all of these expenses, we risk excluding some very talented and deserving boys.

We all know that team sports are so beneficial to young kids. They are a way to build confidence, form bonds and supportive relationships with others, teach responsibility and dedication and give kids a positive and productive activity to spend their time doing. These are all things that can be carried over into other aspects of their lives and will benefit these kids into their futures.

We have traveled to San Diego, Denver and Albuquerque this season, and now our team is getting ready to attend a national ECNL event in Texas that will give the boys the opportunity to be seen by college coaches!  Even if they aren’t recruited to play college-level soccer, just attending events like this gets the boys thinking about college and their futures.

Increases in airfare and car rental have made travel very expensive this season and we are hoping to raise enough funds to help alleviate the financial burden of this upcoming trip to Texas for all of our boys. Any amount large or small is very much appreciated and will help out all of these talented and deserving boys. Thank you!
