Hello! My name is Ava Townsend and I am currently a second-year undergrad at UW studying Public Health and Microbiology. I was recently given the opportunity to go to London to study evolving medical systems for summer 2026.

In my program, 16 students were chosen out of 100 applicants to attend. I unfortunately was recently told that I will not be given any financial assistance because funding was cut by our current administration. I was then told to withdraw from the program if I cannot come up with the money.

I would love to be a part of this program, as a future healthcare provider, it will give me the insights and skills necessary to give the best care to my patients.
