I was 13 when I realised that my voice could change the world. The day I stood beside the piano singing Celine Dion to my mum, bringing her to tears, is what I consider the turning point of my life – the day I decided that I could be a singer and actually make it.

My name is Ava, I am 16 years old, I am from the UK, and I have been accepted to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston! However, tuition, travel, and living expenses are extremely pricey, and I’ll need your support to help me on this wonderful journey!

To study at Berklee with people who are like me; aspiring individuals striving for excellence, is an absolute dream of mine. Almost nothing is more important to me than being in an environment of people who truly care about their futures, and who are willing to apply maximum effort to achieve their goals. I am – and always will be – a firm believer in the fact that you are who you surround yourself with.

Throughout my life, I have attended many performing arts clubs, choirs, and anything and everything to involve and enrich myself with music, but this – this is different.

I am endlessly grateful and over the moon for this incredible opportunity, and after spending all of my waking hours in pursuit of this dream, I cannot believe that it has finally come true. It would be devastating to have to turn down such a life changing, golden opportunity solely due to a financial barrier. Music is my life, my pride and joy, so please, become a part of my journey and lets build something great together!
