Today, our family experienced an unimaginable loss—we lost our home and our precious pets in a fire. The grief we’re feeling is overwhelming, and it’s hard to find the right words to express the pain. Despite this, the outpouring of compassion from friends, neighbors, and even strangers has reminded us that we are not alone. Every call, message, donation, and offer of help has meant more to us than we can say.

Our daughter Ava, who is 9 years old, lost all of her Christmas gifts in the fire. We also have two older children, ages 16 and 17, who don’t live with us but also lost all of their gifts. We want to make sure none of our children are left out during this difficult time.
