Help Ava Cover the Costs of their Fathers Funeral

My dear friend Ava has unexpectedly lost their father. Ava grew up in an impoverished situation and has had to watch as her father declined in health and mental capacity over the last couple of years. He was a passionate person but unfortunately struggled with alcoholism for most of his life. Ava kept a connection with him up until his death on February 20th. During her already tumultuous upbringing, she had to face the death of her mother while in high school. Her father's death has brought up large amounts of past trauma related to her mother's passing.

Due to the unexpected nature of this loss, Ava has been dealing with c-PTSD flashbacks and her other invisible disabilities have made it incredibly difficult for them to go about daily tasks. Accumulating on top of that the unrelenting stress of the bureaucracy of post-death affairs, Ava has been under an extreme amount of stress. They are the sole bearer of this burden, and the remaining members of her family are not able to give any support. Due to his untimely death, there were also no funds put away for the remaining family to cover the costs of post-death affairs.

Unfortunately, Ava has had to take an extended leave from work, a job that does not have any type of bereavement leave. With some financial support, they will be able to focus solely on the funeral and putting her father to rest rather than extending themselves more trying to cover their basic needs.
