Early Wednesday morning, our dear friend Amy passed away unexpectedly at just 50 years old from an aortic aneurysm. Amy had a larger-than-life personality—chances are, if you met her, she either helped you out, made you laugh regularly or offered you life advice that stuck with you. She was the warmest, kindest soul, always putting others first and bringing light wherever she went.
Above all, Amy was a devoted single mom to her daughter, Ava. She worked tirelessly to give Ava the best life possible, surrounding her with love, encouragement, and opportunity.
Ava will celebrate her 11th birthday this Sunday—her first without her mother—a milestone that makes Amy’s passing even more heartbreaking. Just days later, she will also face her first day of fifth grade without her mom by her side, moments that should be filled with joy and excitement now marked by unimaginable loss.
In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, Ava faces a future without her mom’s guidance and support. Our goal is to ease the financial burden during this difficult time—covering immediate expenses, helping with Ava’s care, and most importantly, ensuring she can continue her Catholic school education. Her education was deeply important to Amy, and we want to honor that commitment to her memory.
If you are able, please consider donating. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward supporting Ava—from her education to her daily needs—as she navigates life after this unimaginable loss.
We are deeply grateful for any support you can give, whether through a donation or by sharing this page. If you knew Amy, you know how much she gave of herself—now it’s our turn to give back to her daughter.
All funds raised will go directly to Amy’s brother, Josh Arnold, and her mother, Jean Blinstrub, who have lovingly stepped in to care for Ava and will be managing her immediate needs, education, and future expenses.
With gratitude,
