Hello! I’m Casey, Ava’s friend and if you have the pleasure of being Ava’s friend, then you already know that she is one of those rare people who makes life a little brighter just by being in it.
She is kind, generous, hilarious, thoughtful, talented, silly, humble, and completely full of life. Being friends with Ava is basically like being friends with a fairy or a sprite. She is always the person giving—her time, her energy, her love, and whatever she has—to the people around her.
And right now, Ava needs us to give some of that love back.
Ava has been dealing with an absolutely brutal decade of health challenges, including stage 4 cancer. Her bones are fragile, her health is incredibly difficult, and working full-time simply isn’t possible.
And now, on top of all of that, she is going through a divorce and preparing to become a single mom to her three young daughters.
This is not the future Ava imagined for herself or her girls.
She is facing the emotional and logistical weight of ending a marriage while also trying to figure out how to financially support three growing kids with very limited income. She has a mortgage, utilities, car insurance, gas, groceries, and all the everyday costs that come with raising three daughters.
This fundraiser is for the boring, necessary, incredibly important stuff.
Food in the fridge.
The mortgage getting paid.
The lights staying on.
Gas in the car.
Keeping a safe and stable home for three little girls.
This isn’t money for extras or wants. It’s money to help Ava keep her family afloat while she navigates a situation that no one should have to navigate alone.
If you know Ava, you know how hard it probably is for her to ask for this. She is usually the one helping everyone else. So let’s show up for her now.
No donation is too small. Seriously. $10, $20, $50—it all adds up and every bit helps take some of the pressure off. And if you can’t donate right now, sharing this with your friends and family is genuinely helpful too.
After everything Ava has been through, she deserves some stability. Her girls deserve to feel safe and secure. And Ava deserves the chance to heal and focus on being their mom without constantly wondering how she’s going to make the next bill work.
Let’s take care of one of our own. Let’s help Ava and her girls get through this chapter and build toward a better one. ❤️
Thank you for loving Ava, supporting her, and helping remind her that she doesn’t have to do this alone.
