Help Ava Attend Pre-Med Summer Camp at UC Berkeley!
Hi everyone,
I’m raising funds to support my daughter, Ava Bragg, who has been selected to attend an incredible two-week pre-medical summer program at UC Berkeley this year! This opportunity is part of a prestigious program for motivated high school students who aspire to become doctors — and Ava has been working hard for this moment.
We’re trying to raise $5,000, which will cover the remaining balance of her tuition, travel, and expenses. (The total tuition is $6,400, but we’re only asking for help with what we can’t cover ourselves.) Even a $20 donation makes a big difference — every bit adds up and brings us closer to this life-changing opportunity for Ava!
About Ava
Ava is a 16-year-old sophomore at Mountain View High School in Loveland, Colorado. She’s passionate, dedicated, and already working toward her dream of becoming a doctor.
• She serves as Secretary of Archives on Student Council
• She’s on the high school girls golf team
• She’s a proud member of the Congress of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists
• She excels in her AP and honors classes
Last year, thanks to the kindness of friends, family, and community, Ava was able to attend a Future Physicians and Medical Scientists Congress in Boston — and it was a life-changing experience. Now, she’s been offered a chance to take things even further through this Berkeley Pre-College program — and we’re once again reaching out for support to make it possible.
About the Program
The UC Berkeley Pre-Med Summer Camp is designed for high-achieving high school students pursuing a future in medicine.
Ava will:
• Explore a wide variety of medical fields and specialties
• Learn about medical school admissions and future pathways
• Participate in hands-on simulations and research
• Rotate through clinical workshops and meet professionals, residents, and med students
• Dive deep into an emerging issue in medicine and work on solutions
This program is more than a summer camp — it’s an early, guided step into the world of medicine, providing exposure, mentorship, and experience that could shape her entire future.
