Help Ava Attend a NYLF: Pathways to STEM Program

Hi, my name is Ginny and my daughter Ava was nominated by Educator Ms. Amundson at St. Cecilia Catholic School, to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM in July 2023 at North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

We received the invitation 10 days ago so we have very little time to come up with the tuition before July 15th, 2023 when it must be paid in full. That is a week before the program starts.

Ava's father had to have 5 surgeries last year to reconstruct his left foot. Ava would decorate the basket on his knee scooter every couple of weeks to try and cheer him up.

He was on long-term disability for several months. He will be having one more surgery on April 17th, 2023. What little federal tax return we received this year will have to be used as a down payment to the surgery center before they'll do the surgery.

Due to these circumstances, we are unable to afford the tuition for the NYLF: Pathways to STEM program. We decided to start this GoFundMe to ask for assistance in raising the money for her tuition.

We paid a $299 deposit when we enrolled her today to reserve a spot for her in the program. They are allowing us to make 4 monthly payments of $745 on the 15th of April, May, June, and July. That would get them the $3200 by the July 15th deadline.

So we have 4 mini-goals:

First, $745 by April 15, 2023 - paid!

Another $745 by May 15, 2023 - ready!

Another $745 by June 15, 2023 - short $135

And a final $745 on July 15, 2023 - NEED!
