Hi, My name is Ava and I have just been selected to compete at the World Cheerleading Championships in Orlando Florida in April 2026. My team 'Chaos', a Level 5 team with Aylesbury Cheerleading Academy won a bid to compete at Worlds' last season and I am so excited to have achieved my dream and earned my place on the team. I have previously competed at 'The Summit' for the last 2 years at level 2 & 3, but this is a big step-up to level 5 which is a level I have never trained or competed at before.

To raise money, on Saturday 13th December, I will be walking continuously for 9hrs on a treadmill, the time it takes to fly direct to Florida from Heathrow. Based on my height and stride length, I have calculated I will undertake approximately 92,800 steps!

Many might not appreciate, but cheerleading is an extremely expensive sport, and I am fundraising to solely to cover the cost of the trip which itself is £2400. We still have 8 other competitions to compete throughout this coming season to qualify for the Worlds Championship in 2027.

My 'walk' will take place at On The Limit Gym in Tring on Saturday 13th December starting at 8am and ending at 16.00. If you would like to come and support and workout on the day, all day pass fees sold (£10) will be waived in lieu of a donation to my cause!
