We’re asking for a little help for our daughter Ava.

She has an incredible opportunity to travel to Spain on June 1st—but after a sponsorship fell through, we are now trying to raise $4,000 in a short amount of time.

Time is truly of the essence.

This isn’t just a trip for her—it’s something she has worked so hard to earn:

She spends her Thursdays assisting in teaching Spanish-speaking children English at International Friends Ministries. She’s an Honor Roll student, President of the Spanish National Honor Society, and a member of the National Honor Society. She skipped a full level of Spanish to go straight into Spanish IV, earned a Gold Medal on the National Spanish Exam, and received the Seal of Biliteracy on her diploma.

She’s also been recognized for her excellence beyond the classroom—winning the Georgia Young Authors Competition for our district, earning top honors in Spanish at both the school and university level, and recently being awarded Best Delegate for the CEPAL Committee at the 2025–2026 Model United Nations Competition.

On top of all of that, she is a dedicated competitive skater who puts her whole heart into everything she does.

We are beyond proud of her. This trip would allow her to fully immerse herself in the language and culture she loves and has worked so hard to master.
