My name is Autumn, and I am a low-income student who has been accepted into my dream school, Yonsei University in Korea. This opportunity means everything to me, as it will allow me to deepen my understanding of cultural psychiatry and become a better psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have always believed that learning from different cultures is essential to providing compassionate and effective care, and studying at Yonsei will help me achieve that goal.

Getting to this point has not been easy. I worked hard to save for my personal expenses and applied to more than ten scholarships to help fund my education. Unfortunately, one of the scholarships I was counting on was rescinded due to an error, which set back my financial planning and left me struggling to cover the costs of tuition, housing, travel, books, school trips, extracurricular activities, and a meal plan. Despite these challenges, I am determined to pursue my dream and make the most of this incredible opportunity.

I am deeply grateful for anyone who believes in my journey and chooses to support me. Opportunities like this are rare for people like me, and your support means the world. I promise to give back to the community once I begin my career, helping others just like me.
