Autumn Rae needs your help!!! ACAPELLA ACADEMY

Hello, my name is Autumn Rae Shannon. I'm a 17-year-old artist who has the privilege to have been chosen for a great opportunity. I auditioned at the last minute (literally), and was honestly just hoping I didn't miss the deadline. Out of thousands of applicants, only about 85 are selected to attend this intensive camp. The camp is called A Capella Academy, created by former Pentatonix member Avi Kaplan, and I am SO EXCITED to say I was accepted! This camp is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me, but, this great opportunity is tuition based and I need your help so I may attend this summer of 2023. With a little help from generous people like you, I'm sure I will be able to attend. Here's a little bit about me!

I have been singing since I was two and performing since I was four. Music has always been a big part of my life, and I've known it was my passion ever since I can remember. My first memory is of my Nana and me watching Lady Gaga performing live on TV, and my first favorite toy was a plastic microphone.

My goal since then has been to share joy through my music. I began songwriting at the age of six as well as experimenting with some instruments and beginning to perform at local fundraisers and benefits. I haven't stopped exploring my love for music since!! I'm singing 24/7 --not an exaggeration-- to the point where people notice me humming when even I don't realize I'm doing it. All of the workers at our local grocery stores would ask me to sing for them growing up, and to this day we have formed lasting connections (and they always ask about my music).

If I can reach my goal, with your help, I will be able to attend this terrific educational opportunity!! I'll be able to learn so much to advance as a vocalist, and they have classes that will help me to succeed as a rounded musician as well!! Such as, learning how to collaborate with groups of others, and how to be a better business person for my future. These donations will help pay for travel, tuition, rooming, board, food, and all expenses to be there. So if you can please help and donate to a wonderful cause, I will be forever grateful!!
