A Mother, A Dream, A Community in Jeopardy

My name is Autumn Duncan, and I am the owner of AutumnLeavesBeauty, a full-service spa and beauty brand based in Baltimore. For the past 3 years, I’ve poured my heart, my faith, and every ounce of my energy into creating not just a beauty business, but a safe space for women to feel empowered, cared for, and seen.

I am not just a business owner—I am also a single mother of three children, ages 10, 6, and 3. Every decision I make, every sacrifice, every late night, has been for them. They are watching me build, watching me fight, and watching me prove that even against impossible odds, a mother’s love and determination can create something lasting.

This week, I was blindsided. On September 5, 2025, I was served notice that I must vacate my spa by October 4, 2025. No reason. No discussion. My requests to renew my lease have been ignored. On top of that, my landlord is attempting to legally file me as a “tenant over holding,” demanding 1.5 times my current rent, plus attorney’s fees.

This space is not just four walls. It is the heartbeat of my business, the place where dreams are nurtured and women leave feeling more confident than when they walked in. Nine incredible women—my team—depend on this space for their livelihoods. They are mothers, sisters, daughters, dreamers too. And without this space, not only do I lose my business, but they lose theirs as well.

What separates AutumnLeavesBeauty from other spas and salons is not just the pink walls or the luxury products—it’s the community we’ve built. My spa has always been rooted in faith, love, and empowerment. We’ve created a family. When clients come in, they don’t just get lashes, nails, or skincare—they get prayed for, uplifted, and reminded of their worth.

But now, everything is at risk.

I am asking for your help to raise $15,000–$20,000 to fight this battle and to secure a new home for AutumnLeavesBeauty. These funds will go directly toward legal fees, relocation, and keeping my team employed while we transition.
