Help for Down Syndrome girl's Speech therapy

I am fundraising for a 7year old girl with Autistic Down Syndrome.  FAVOUR is living with her unemployed Single mother who is confused on how to cope with the girl. Favour's father left her mother immediately she was born and the Doctor communicated to them that their baby has Down Syndrome.

Taking care of her alone has deprived the mother of getting a stable job as her daughter need 24 hours of her care & attention. She is very hyperactive in non-coordinated way and can easily inflict self-harm to herself.

 Parents that have such children in their care will understand the task of raising such child alone.

When I first met Favour and her mother  a little more than 1 year ago for the first time, I was overwhelmed by her outgoing personality, her beauty and how lovely she is! thou she cannot talk, concentrate  or keep an eye contact. 

Safrel Speech and Language Development Centre, Ikorodu, Lagos. Nigeria is the only school that accepted to admit her. It is a School for children with Special needs, they have special programs & therapies for such children. At Safrel, they give them speech and behavioral therapy that will help them to speak, bath, toiletry, wear cloth, express themselves etc.

Safrel's goal for the Down Syndrome pulpils is to give them the tools and ability to integrate into general education and how to do common things on their own.

Favour's total fees is £800 per year x years training =£3200 (hostel fees & feedings included). 

We are looking to raise £3200 that will  cover 4years course for her. Any additional funds will be directly donated to other Special Needs children at Safrel.

Help Favour to learn how to communicate/talk and do some minor things independently as she is growing to adulthood. Favour can never be a normal child, but this special training will help her to live and enjoy a quality life.

Africa is a place where the resources necessary for children with down syndrome are almost non existent.

Any amount would be appreciated  and will go along way helping this innocent sweet soul.
