I'm on disability and live with my 16-year-old child. Our only income is Disability, and for the first time since 2008, it has not arrived. I wrote about it on Substack (will try to link it here).

I am a disabled single father of a brilliant and beautiful autistic child. A harsh critic of Elon Musk, I'm certain that is why the deposit that typically comes no later than the 29th or 30th of the month is not arriving. My bank informed me they have no record of the transaction that usually occurs for them on the 27th so they can deposit into my account 3 days early.

Florida law now allows only 3 days before full rent is paid before eviction proceedings can begin. Until November of last year, we had an 8-day grace period.
