Hi everyone!

My name is Azuki, founder of AU.THENTICITY DANCE CO. We are so excited to announce that we are a finalist for TWO choreographic festivals: ACE Awards AND Choreographer’s Cup! If you know me, you’ll know I was so giddy finding out that AU.THENTICITY’s work was accepted into these prestigious festivals… I’m even giddy typing this!

We need your help — I am providing transportation and lodging for the dancers at both of these events; As both events are outside the state of California (our home base) this is definitely a costly endeavor and we need some help from you all! By donating, you will be supporting US on our way to both these festivals. Expenses include studio rental, Ubers, flights, and hotels. Even donating a few dollars would mean SO much to us!

The work that we are presenting sheds light on the importance of generating awareness, kindness, and empathy. I find this especially important given these challenging times we are facing as artists and as humans. We believe this work is important for us to present and share widely and we hope to use this opportunity to open up conversations about identity and belonging, which is the overarching goal of this work.
