Austin is the oldest of nine children and the first of his siblings to graduate high school. He grew up in a loving home with parents who started their family as teens, facing the hardships of raising a large family on a limited income. Despite the challenges, we always worked hard to provide for our children and support their dreams. Austin has always been a leader, setting an example for his siblings and making us proud every step of the way. He recently received a football scholarship at Simpson University, marking a huge milestone for our family.

Austin’s journey hasn’t been easy. He suffered a traumatic brain injury as a passenger in a car accident, but he never let that stop him. Despite the challenges, he excelled in academics and sports, playing football since he was five years old and thriving as a dual and sometimes tri-sport athlete. His dedication and talent have always stood out, earning recognition from teammates and coaches. Austin has also given back to his community by coaching local elementary school sports, inspiring younger kids to follow their dreams.

As Austin prepares to head off to college, we’re asking for support to help cover the cost of living, school supplies, household needs, books, and a reliable vehicle for transportation to college, work, and daily needs. He’s saved some money for a vehicle, but it’s not enough for something dependable. Your support will also help with dorm room expenses, sports equipment, and travel costs.
