Hi everyone, my name is Austin Stone. I recently got diagnosed with Multifocal Oligodendroglioma Grade II, a rare form of brain cancer. I had brain surgery to confirm the diagnosis after a few visits to the emergency room because of the seizures the tumors are causing me. My doctors have told me I’m too young to risk standard radiation and chemotherapy because of the permanent damage it can quickly cause from trying to radiate all four tumors at once. Instead, I’ve been put on an experimental chemotherapy called Tibsovo. It is terminal so the experimental chemo is only being used to hold back progression, but for now, it is working although it is putting a strain on my budget. I hate asking for it, but any help you could give would be appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to check out my story.
