Help Austin save his dog

Is there anything that can be done to help someone whose sweet dog broke both it’s front legs? My neighbour is 15 and they can’t afford the cost of the surgeries  and he’s completely heartbroken. He’s at the Fairfield Animal hospital right now.  They asked about a payment plan and they don’t offer that. He wants to sell everything he has including his quad. I’ve offered $1000 but cannot afford more. This dog is his world. I see him with him every day. Breaks my heart. Any ideas? Thank you This is older pic of his dog. He either comes up with the $10,000 or they euthanize his sweet dog. His family moved here over a year ago. They have had a real tough time. Austin has no friends yet he’s the kindest, most polite kid I have ever met. His dog is his whole world. Please help. We lost our dog a month ago and we know the heartbreak.
