Help Austin on his transplant journey

Donation protected
Hello, my name Cris and we are asking for help for our son in law Austin Moore. We were so happy when Austin married our daughter, Sarah, and joined our family. He is honestly one of the nicest guys we have ever met. Hard working. Always upbeat. Will be there in a jiffy if you need him. A genuine person that makes friends with everyone! Just a fun, positive energy to be around.
Austin and Sarah are just starting their life together. They just celebrated their 2-year wedding anniversary. Their son, Peyton, just turned 1! Austin started a new job...All was going as planned. Until last month.
Austin wasn't feeling well, he was short of breath so went to the ER. Surprised to find out he has Kidney failure! He was immediately started on dialysis 3 times a week and needs a kidney transplant. Reason? Don't know for sure. Like that wasn't enough, 3 weeks later, back to the ER with chest pain. Austin had a heart attack, had to have 2 stents placed and found out he has a blood clot, at 29 years old..He is a healthy guy, played baseball for years, does not do drugs, rarely drinks. Does not make sense.
Austin is not one to sit around. He went back to work as soon as he could, doing as much as possible even though he is not feeling the best. Concerned about finances and how to deal with everything coming their way. Priorities now, try not to get buried in the mounting medical bills, going to dialysis 3 times per week, endless appointments to find out what is causing all of this and hopefully, a kidney transplant.
Anything donated will help with medical bills and for his future kidney transplant.
Thank you so much!
Hello! Want to send out a big thank you. Update to come soon
1/3/2024 Hello and Happy New Year! Austin continues dialysis 4 hours a day 3 days a week and is doing ok. Had to go to the hospital due to a problem with his dialysis catheter but thankfully it did not have to be replaced. Donations are helping with the cost of dialysis and is MUCH appreciated. Austin is registered with the kidney foundation and hoping to get his workup started soon in order to find a donor. He and Sarah are staying strong and managing the best they can. Support from family, friends and community helps in such a monumental way. We cannot express how thankful we are! This process is going to take time and we will give updates whenever something new happens. Thank you to everyone for all of the support!
