"Rose Ryder" is written and directed by Austin López.

It is also the capstone (final) project for many other students at Northern Arizona University.

As we wrap up our time at NAU, this project will have us putting our heads together to create a film showcasing all we have learned in the past four years.

As expected with filmmaking projects, this film will require a group of collaborators to help make this possible.

The film is a story, inspired by the Red Riding Hood tale, about motherhood and growing up with a single parent. It tackles themes of maturity, heartbreak, being a parent, ethnic identity, and coming to terms with your sexuality.
