Help Austin Heal and Rebuild After Accident

Hello everyone, I am starting this GoFundMe for my step brother Austin Marr. To start, he is stable but with severe/painful injuries. He was involved in a serious motor vehicle (pick up truck vs semi) accident on July 10, 2024. All proceeds will be donated to his mom, Allison Marr, to delegate for medical costs not covered by insurance, gas to and from the hospital, care for his almost 3-year-old son, Luke, and anything else needed until Austin is able to access/delegate those things himself.

Detailed background info/updates-

On July 10th, 2024, Austin was driving down the S-curves of Maple Island Rd when a box Semi had crossed the center line, hitting Austin and pushing both vehicles into the ditch and totaling Austin’s truck.

For Austin, this accident resulted in several serious injuries to his pelvis/hip, ankle/foot, wrist, lacerations on his face, minor skull crack, and more. He has had the first round of surgery and rods/pin placement to his wrist, hip, and ankle.

Aside from medical trauma and cost, Austin’s truck has been completely destroyed. He will have to spend the next few months (at minimum) healing and recovering and undergoing physical therapy. Time away from his son. All of this has taken a toll on the family as a whole and we are asking for continued prayers and well wishes as he takes this long road to recovery.
