Hello everyone,

We received some exciting news that our son Austin was selected for a spot on the 16u South All-Region Team roster. His team will compete against the other regions in the National Team Identification Series (NTIS) Champions Cup. This final round will take place at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina in two weeks (8/11-8/16). The tournament-style Cup is used to evaluate the regional players and help determine the final 12-man roster for our National Team (Team USA).

This was very exciting news for about 5 minutes.

We originally signed Austin up to give him a vision, so that he could set some personal goals for himself. We have always thought of our son as a talented ball player, but didn't imagine he would be selected over so many other kids. The quick turnaround with the Champions Cup only two weeks away, has put a financial constraint on our family. In order to help alleviate some of the financial hardship, we are kindly asking for donations to help cover the cost of Austin’s trip. The donations will help cover the cost of his registration fee, flight, and hotel.
