HELP Austin get a new camera!!

Austin has received enough money to reach his goal of purchasing a new camera body! He acquired the camera in May of 2023. He is so grateful and amazed by all the kind words and every single donation. It has given him the chance to keep pursuing his photography dreams. We are updating this because he has gotten some new features and exposure recently. His most recent feature on the Bold Journey Series talks about his optimism and strength through his challenges. This gofundme will be attached to his linktree so anyone coming across his page can still donate to help him replace some of the equipment that he wasn’t able to replace from the car theft that took place in January 2023. Hi friends! We’re starting this page to help our friend Austin who is an aspiring photographer in Chicago! Not only is he incredibly talented, he is also one of the hardest working individuals we know. So much so that he was recently awarded DoorDasher of the year, leading him to star in his own commercial advertising his dream of becoming a professional photographer. Austin worked insanely hard over the years and has built his career from the bottom up to become the photographer he is today.

On Saturday 1/28/23 Austin got his first big break taking photos for a professional artist at a music venue and was really excited to see where his career would go from there. Later that night Austin went out to his car to find that his windows were smashed in and he was robbed of his professional camera (which was over 3k) as well as his entire bag of equipment. This bag included multiple lenses and light boxes necessary for taking professional photos. Being without his camera, his dreams of photography have come to a sudden halt as these items cannot be easily replaced. This has been heartbreaking for Austin and heartbreaking for those of us who know him and know he does not deserve this. Austin is one of the hardest working, most selfless, and sincerely genuine people we have ever known and we would like to do anything we can to lessen this blow for him and help him get back to chasing his dreams as a photographer.
