Help Austin Efford Stay in His Home and Pursue His Dreams
Donation protected
At just 18 years old, Austin Efford has faced unimaginable loss. Recently orphaned on Christmas Day, Austin is navigating life without the support of his parents, who tragically passed away in the only home he’s ever known. His mom passed of Breast cancer when Austin was only 5 years old, and now his loving father Mark has passed on Xmas day.
Despite these hardships, Austin is determined to create a brighter future for himself.
This September, Austin will begin his college journey at BCIT, studying structural CAD and engineering—a dream he’s worked hard to achieve. While a small registered education savings plan and a very modest (small) life insurance policy will help cover some costs, it’s not enough to sustain him through his two-year program or allow him to stay in his family home.
Austin, now faces the overwhelming challenge of managing living expenses, tuition, and bills on his own, while learning life skills and how to cope without his dad’s emotional and financial support. Losing his home would be a devastating blow, as it holds the memories of his parents and represents the stability he needs to succeed.
We are reaching out to ask for your help. Our goal is to raise enough funds to allow Austin to stay in his family home while completing his education. By supporting Austin, you’re not only giving him the chance to honor his parents’ memory but also helping a bright and hardworking young man build a secure and independent future in the community where he was born and raised. Austin recently graduated from Centennial High School in Coquitlam on the honour roll, with distinction! He’s very bright, and although he has his challenges due to his disability, Austin preserves and works hard to achieve excellence at everything he does.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact on Austin’s life. Together, we can help him stay on his feet, focus on his studies, and achieve his dreams.
Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
Please donate now, and share this incredible young man’s story. Thank you !
