Help Austin and Liz Overcome Medical Hardships

My name is Katie Kavanaugh, and I am starting this go fund me for this incredible family who has been through the most heartbreaking year.

Five-month-old baby Lincoln is struggling with an undiagnosed respiratory issue. He has had three admissions to the hospital and multiple ER visits in the last three weeks, including ambulance trips to the ER. They have had multiple pediatrician visits and are looking at specialist visits and lots of medical testing to try to get to the bottom of what is happening. As you can imagine the medical bills are piling up and co-pays for prescriptions are draining them along with the cost of gas to go back and forth to the hospital.

The parents, Austin and Liz, have been through hell over this last year. Liz lost her dad to cancer right after Lincoln was born. She cared for her dad while she was pregnant, had gallbladder attacks throughout her pregnancy, had an ICU stay right after Lincoln was born, and then gallbladder surgery. Austin has had two surgeries to have kidney stones removed and multiple emergency room visits himself. He is now having testing for Crohn's disease. The medical bills are substantial as their insurances does not cover everything. Their four-year-old Colton is wondering what in the world is going on with his family. He is in daycare and preschool and just wants things to return to normal.

People have been asking what they can do to help. What they need is money. Money to help pay for gas, medical bills, groceries, and household bills. The future is unknown at this point, but one or both may be looking at having to take a leave without pay which will be detrimental. Let's come together and help them!
