Aurymar Cintrón is a 25-year-old young woman who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in the spine and hip. She needs to be transported by air ambulance since she’s bedridden, to Moffitt Cancer Center Hospital in Tampa, Florida, to receive treatment. Due to the high hospital and treatment costs, we are asking for financial contributions. No matter the amount, it will be of great help.

This is not the first time Aury has been diagnosed with cancer. In October 2021, she had to go to the doctor because she felt a lump in her right breast. There, a mammogram was performed, so they proceeded to perform a biopsy, which came back positive for cancer in both the breast and the armpit. After this, the doctor recommended chemotherapies to reduce the tumors and be able to perform breast removal surgery, and finish with radiotherapy.

Despite being on the right side, Aury decided upon the recommendation to have both breasts removed to reduce the risk of the cancer recurring. After 4 chemo treatments and undergoing surgery, (4 times) since she had postoperative complications, she was finally able to undergo radiotherapy. Already in 2022, they performed a PET scan and according to the oncologist the results were negative for cancer so she was cancer-free.

Recently, on March 7, 2024, Aury had to be rushed to the hospital by ambulance, since she could not move due to the pain, It was believed that the pain was caused by the operation previously performed on her back since she had previously undergone surgery for herniated discs. She was transferred to the Comprehensive Cancer Center, and while there they performed a CT scan to find out what was happening. The next day (March 8, 2024) they informed her and her parents of the CT results, indicating that she has cancer in the spine and hips.

Her parents managed to get treatment in Florida and must make arrangements to leave their residence and work. To go in search of the best care for their daughter. We are confident that just as the first time Aurymar managed to overcome that critical moment in her life, this time it will be the same, that’s why we ask in whatever way you can and wish, contribute, either financially or by sharing so that others can do the same.

Aurymar Cintrón es una joven de 25 años que fue diagnosticada con cáncer tipo 4 en la columna vertebral y en la cadera. Necesita ser trasladada de emergencia en ambulancia aérea, ya que está encamada, al Hospital Moffitt Cancer Center en Tampa, Florida para recibir tratamiento. Debido a los altos costos hospitalarios y del tratamiento estamos pidiendo aportaciones económicas, no importa la cantidad, será de gran ayuda.

Esta no es la primera vez que a Aury la diagnostican con cáncer. En octubre de 2021 tuvo que ir al doctor porque sentía un bulto en el seno derecho, ahí se le realizó una mamografía que obtuvo como resultado un BI-RADS 4, por lo cual pasaron a realizarle una biopsia la cual dió positiva para cáncer tanto en el seno como en la axila. Luego de esto la doctora le recomendó quimioterapias para reducir los tumores y poder realizarle una mastectomía, extracción de nódulos en la axila y finalizar con radioterapia. A pesar de estar en el lado derecho Aury decidió extirparse ambos senos para reducir el riesgo de que reaparezca el cáncer. En el 2022, luego de 4 quimios y ser sometida a 4 cirugías (ya que tuvo complicaciones post-operatorias) se le realiza otro PET scan que salió negativo al Cáncer, así finalmente pudo realizarse las radioterapias.

Recientemente (el 7 de marzo de 2024 ) Aury tuvo que ser llevada de emergencia al hospital en ambulancia ya que no podía moverse por el dolor. Se creía que el dolor era ocasionado por la operacion realizada anteriormente en la espalda ya que previamente había sido operada de discos herniados.

Fue trasladada al Centro Comprensivo de Cáncer. Estando allí le realizaron un CT scan. Al día siguiente (8 de marzo de 2024) le comunican a ella y a sus padres los resultados del CT indicándole que tiene cáncer en la columna y caderas.

Sus padres lograron conseguir un tratamiento en Florida y deben realizar los arreglos para poder dejar su residencia y trabajo para poder ir en busca de los mejores cuidados para su hija. Estamos confiados que así como la primera vez Aurymar logró superar ese momento tan crítico en su vida , está vez será igual.
