Adding on: In the recent months I was hospitalized 3 more times, last time was 8 days 7 nights had to get 2 blood transfusions and a couple months prior I had 1 transfusion. I have lost a-lot of weight and am frail and very fragile, bruise easily. I was just kicked out of my home and cannot work due to my illness and still waiting on disability. I am still facing a brain tumor, spinal damage and nerve damage.
My name is Aurora, and I live in Eugene, Oregon. I have battled cancer twice and won; however, the damage done has reared its ugly head. This year alone, I have had 2 surgeries, 2 procedures, and been hospitalized at least half a dozen times.
I currently have severe left foot drop (with no feeling from my left knee down), a brain tumor that messes with my vision, memory, and balance, and my L4 and L5 are bulging and causing relentless pain. I recently had a simple procedure that turned horrible. I ended up bleeding internally, vomited for 2 days, and could no longer stand or walk. I ended up in the ICU for 2 days and had surgery to fix the bleeding. I had to get a unit of blood and had to have an OT and a PT come in to help me walk and walk upstairs, make sure I was able to take care of myself, i.e., eat, drink, bathe, use the restroom. I was discharged, and something else happened, so I will be going back to the hospital tomorrow.
I have numerous specialists and appointments galore! I am always tired and in pain. I am now disabled and unable to work until most of this gets fixed, so I am not bringing in money. I have exhausted most resources to help. So, I am reaching out in other ways to help.
