Help Aurora Go To France

Hi, my name is Aurora Speck and I am currently in the 8th grade. I come from a family of ten, I have two brothers and five sisters, and I am the third oldest out of all and the second oldest girl. In the summer 2024, my sophomore year of high school, I hope to travel to France with a group of 23 to 25 individuals from my French class. I’ve spent the past two years studying French — even practicing in my spare time on Duolingo — and it’s become a passion of mine to learn about different languages and cultures from around the world. I like to think I have been excelling in my lessons both in school and at home — landing a spot in distinguished honors every marking period — but I know that nothing would benefit my understanding of other cultures and languages than immersing myself among them. I am aware that first-hand experience far out trumps that of learning from a book or a website. I have been working hard — from earning money to applying for jobs — to gather enough money for this trip, which exceeds that of 4K. I am making a request in hopes that there are people who are willing to give in order to help me achieve my goals. I understand that others may not be in a position to give much financially, but if you could spread the word to others, it would help just as much. And to those who are able to give, no amount is too little and every cent will be greatly appreciated.
