Hi, I’m Aurelio Padilla.

I’m a 35-year-old Bay Area resident who’s spent the last six years growing with my company—until recently, when I was placed on furlough. I’ve been covering my basic expenses through savings and unemployment benefits, but those benefits have now lapsed, and I’ve been told my return to work may not happen until July at the earliest.

These past few months have been humbling. I’m proud of the dedication I put into my job and the community I’ve built here, and it’s difficult for me to ask for help. But right now I need support to keep a roof over my head. If I can cover my rent over the next few months, I’ll have the breathing room to refocus my energy on finding new employment and getting back on my feet.
