Help Aunty Mel with her Heart Surgery

Please help us raise money to help my Aunty Mel who is like a second mom to me! She is the most caring person and never hesitates to help anyone that needs it! She's a single mom of 4 and mama to 5 grandkids! She's a hard worker and never likes to ask anyone for anything. She has a very rare heart condition called Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy. It's so rare that there's no surgeons here in Hawaii that can do the surgery she needs. She'll need to travel to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in February. She's needed the surgery since last year but has put it off because of finances but since stress can cause her condition to worsen and possible lead to death, it has become a necessity to get the surgery done. She is scheduled to get testing done in Rochester on February 10th and see the doctors on February 11th. She is really hoping to get her surgery done on either the 14th or 15th and then she will need to stay for about 10 days or until she is cleared to fly back home. She has already suffered a mild stroke that thankfully she was able to recover about 90% from but has lost function in her left hand, though she never lets anyone fuss over her and always downplays any pain or discomfort she may have. Since her appointments are so soon, we are just asking that if you can help in any way, we would greatly appreciate it! All funds will go towards any medical bills, accommodations and airfare.
