For nearly 7 years, I have been running a home-based bakery rooted in community, wellness, and justice. For much of that time, I lived in a rental which (unbeknownst to me) also housed black mold. This exposure caused fatigue and malaise, which were exacerbated by long covid. Despite moving out of the moldy house a year ago, I continue to experience health complications

I have held these struggles close but it’s time to imagine a different life. I can no longer sustain the 50+ hour weeks required of a small business owner, and I can no longer put my health second to the grind

The bakery is sunsetting. Despite the setbacks of the last several years, I am doing my best to surface optimism for the future. I’d like to invite you to cocreate it with me
