My name is Jenny, and I’m raising funds for Tía Graciela Bó—the mother of my best friend and a second mother to me. If you grew up in LATAM, you understand what that truly means. On December 3, 2025, everything changed. Tía Graciela suffered a hemorrhagic stroke, and soon after, doctors discovered an aneurysm. Since that moment, she has been fighting for her life in the ICU. We have watched her endure procedures, sedation, and uncertainty with a strength that breaks your heart open. Now, doctors have begun the delicate process of waking her, but her journey is only beginning.

Her medical insurance does not cover her care. The bills have already reached ₲200,000,000 (~$28,000 USD) and may rise to ₲500,000,000 (~$70,000 USD). And this is only the first chapter—once she leaves the hospital, months of therapy and rehabilitation await her. We are doing everything we can, but the truth is simple: we cannot carry this alone.

Mi nombre es Jenny y estoy recaudando fondos para Tía Graciela Bó, la mamá de mi mejor amiga y una segunda madre para mí. Si creciste en Latinoamérica, sabés exactamente lo que eso significa. Ella es de esas mujeres que abren su casa, su mesa y su corazón a todos. Su generosidad, su calidez, su fe en las personas han marcado a muchísimos de nosotros. El 3 de diciembre de 2025, todo cambió. Tía Graciela sufrió un ACV hemorrágico y, poco después, los médicos descubrieron un aneurisma. Desde ese momento, ha estado luchando por su vida en la UTI. La hemos visto atravesar procedimientos, sedación e incertidumbre con una fortaleza que te parte el corazón y, al mismo tiempo, te lo llena de admiración. Hoy, los médicos han comenzado el delicado proceso de despertarla, pero su camino recién empieza.

Su seguro médico no cubre su tratamiento. Los gastos ya alcanzan los ₲200.000.000 (aprox. USD 28.000) y podrían llegar hasta ₲500.000.000 (aprox. USD 70.000). Y esto es solo el primer capítulo: cuando salga del hospital, le esperan meses de terapias y rehabilitación. Estamos haciendo todo lo que está a nuestro alcance, pero la verdad es simple: no podemos con esto solos.

Este es uno de esos momentos en los que la comunidad lo es todo. Cuando nos unimos no porque tengamos que hacerlo, sino porque el amor nos llama.
