UPDATE:
I’m asking for help for my Aunt Marilyn—someone who has always been there for everyone else, and now truly needs support.
She recently suffered an ischemic stroke caused by a blocked artery in her brain. She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and spent days undergoing emergency testing, scans, and neurological care. It was sudden, terrifying, and life-changing.
She is now facing a long road of recovery, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, along with ongoing doctor visits. She will also need to be on blood thinners and other medications for the rest of her life.
The financial impact has been overwhelming. Her out-of-pocket medical costs from this stroke alone are estimated between $6,000–$8,000—and that doesn’t include the income she’s lost from missing over three weeks of work.
This comes on top of everything she’s already been through—surviving cancer twice and living with a prosthetic leg that is now cracked and needs replacement.
Despite it all, she’s still trying to work and keep her home. But right now, she cannot do this alone.
Please, if you can, consider donating to help cover her medical expenses and recovery. Any amount truly helps. And if you’re unable to give, sharing this would mean so much.
She has spent her life taking care of others—now she needs us.
Thank you for your support ❤️
