I have no words to describe this heartbreak that my family and I are currently feeling right now… As some of you may know, my aunt Gina has been battling an infection she has had in her lungs for 19 years. Most recently, her lungs have collapsed and she was rushed to the hospital, where she has stayed since July 27th… She has been fighting so hard to recover and she has been doing so alongside God. She has always remained so true to her faith in God, a miracle has truly happened when her heart stopped beating but she was able to wake up again. She has been very ill, but she is a strong woman.

My aunt Gina has always been a ray of light, one of the kindest souls that someone can ever meet. She is the type of person to give everything that she has to someone who has nothing. She spreads love everywhere she goes and one conversation with her can make a sad person smile. She is not only my aunt, but someone’s grandma, sister, daughter, mother, and friend.

This has to be one of the hardest things that my family and I have gone through and because my family lives in the Philippines, my mom and I are not able to be there. My mom has been working extra shifts in order to help cover the medical costs that have accumulated while she has stayed in the hospital. We are raising this money in order to help cover the fees of my aunt's medical expenses… It would mean so much to my family and I if you were able to help, even a dollar or a prayer goes a long way.
