After several months with no answers, my Aunt Debra was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer. In a few weeks, she will undergo surgery and they will do a biopsy at that time to tell us how much/if the cancer has spread to further create a game plan. She will have 6 weeks of downtime after the surgery on bed rest, and because she is self employed she will be unable to work. At this time, she is paying for the surgery completely out of pocket because she doesn’t have medical insurance. Anyone that has met or knows her knows that she always goes out of her way for everyone else, so we’d like to give back to her in this time that she needs us most. We’re asking for any help you feel led to provide to ease the financial burden for her cost of the surgery and her expenses while she’s out of work. We also ask for thoughts and prayers for Aunt Deb and our family as we navigate this.
