Help my Aunt and Uncle Recover from Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
My heart breaks as I write this…
My Aunt and Uncle have been residents of Bradenton Florida for my entire life. This past week they lost everything due to Hurricane Helene. Unfortunately they are not covered by storm/ flood damage. Their property is charming water front “bunker on the bay” in which they call it. They have spent their lifetime giving back to the community within their professions of art therapy, and a professor of statistics. They have lived a modest, happy life there on the bay.
As of today, they have nothing. They want no help, but I cannot sit by and watch my family who are in their mid 70’s handle this devastation. This property was their entire life, and has brought so much joy and love to those who have visited.
I am asking that anyone who can help, please consider doing so. They are wonderful people who deserve to build back their “bunker on the bay”. Nothing fancy…. Just a place to continue to share their love with others.
I appreciate any prayers for their broken spirits, and donations to help them get back home.
Genuinely,
