Help Aundrèa's Family Rebuild After Disaster

Hello, my name is Aundrèa.My children and I have been struggling to overcome a natural disaster from July 15, 2025. A landslide occurred behind our complex during the storms and took out our power. Ever since, promises have been broken, permits not given, and restoration dates exceeded by the owner/landlord, who lives out of state. Random contractors in the area began dumping on the property, including two he paid to clean up. The owner hasn't come by to check on his property or his tenants since this incident! Being the only household that has absolutely no choice, no assistance from any groups, charities, programs, or government-listed resources. We ran out of funds within two weeks and were forced to go back home, stay at the apartment, and ride it out. Living out of a 26-liter cooler, piled up in the living room on the top floor, where the thermostat read 101°, the only way to keep cool was taking turns soaking in cold baths to cool off. Every day, every meal, every hour became our struggle. I sold most of my belongings to keep us fed, buy medications, medical supplies, and gas for transportation to and from all doctor appointments. Waiting for disability benefit approval has also been a nightmare. I am at the hospital 3-5 days out of most weeks due to all of my compounding diagnoses, including my 2nd battle with cancer. Since this nightmare of a daily life we had to become accustomed to, my health has declined rapidly and I'm worried that the situation could seriously injure me and put me in the hospital long-term. As time has chiseled away at us, the city put a notice on the building claiming it's unfit, the owner was given a court date and a deadline for tenants to move. Well, that deadline is today!! We spent everything we had, including selling our things just to get by. My children and I are at rock bottom due to this. We lost everything we own in storage due to spending all funds on places to go for AC, food and meals, transportation, living each day, minute by minute. We had to throw all our food out, pay hotels and friends till there wasn't a dollar left. Looked into resources and shelters in the county and surrounding areas with no end in sight. Not even the police could help when they came for a welfare check on us, besides a ride to a shelter that isn't available. Resources tell me there's no funds and to check elsewhere, which kept turning into an endless circle. The amount of mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical damage this has done to us is unimaginable and unfathomable, to say the least. This complex houses 6 units, all of which have families. My children and I have been forced to live here, on the top floor where it's the hottest. Please help us, and find anyone that can and will hold our owner/landlord/property manager accountable for the damages this has done to our families, and what being unhoused has caused. I have pictures, videos, calls, texts, and email logs from everyone including tenants and witnesses of all this trauma. We need to show people the timeline and damages that were repeatedly done to us. Please never hesitate, let me know if there's anything anyone can do. Thank you for your time, God bless you all.
