My name is Alejandra,

and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my best friend, Augustina—a strong, devoted single mother of three (ages 14,13, and 4) who is currently fighting stage 3B cervical cancer at the young age of 32.

Augustina recently completed an intense regimen of chemotherapy and radiation—five days a week. Her strength and perseverance have been nothing short of inspiring. The good news is that her cancer is currently stable, and she now only requires treatment once every three weeks for the next three years.

As her health began to improve, Augustina was finally set to return to work on October 21, 2025. She has been on FMLA during treatment, which provided limited income, and returning to work was a huge step forward for her and her children.

But tragedy struck the day before her return.

On October 20, 2025, while driving on the freeway her recently purchased used car suddenly began to jerk. She pulled over to the side of the road—and moments later, her car caught fire.

Thankfully, she and the kids were unharmed—but her only mode of transportation is now gone.

Augustina is already carrying the heavy burden of a cancer diagnosis—emotionally, physically, and financially. She should be focusing on healing and being there for her children. Instead, she’s now facing another crisis: no car, no savings, and the urgent need to return to work or risk losing her job.

As a single mother, she does it all—school runs, doctor appointments, grocery shopping, work—everything.

Without a vehicle, providing for her family and continuing her treatment becomes nearly impossible.
