Hi, my name is August DeWitt, and I’m a bull rider with big goals. Like most sports, bull riding is exciting—but also expensive to pursue at a competitive level.

I started riding bulls in April 2025, and I’ve already had an incredible season! Over the summer, I’ve been on about 90 bulls and earned several accomplishments I’m really proud of:

Now, I’m stepping up to riding big bulls! To keep progressing, I’m planning to attend two major bull riding clinics this winter — the Tuckin’ Wright Bull School in Ogden, Utah, and Wiley Peterson’s Bull Riding Clinic in Idaho Falls. These clinics are incredible opportunities to learn from top professionals, but the costs for gear, travel, and training add up fast.

Winter can be tough because there aren’t many rodeos in my area, so I don’t have as many chances to earn money from competing. I’m a high school student and also work part-time cleaning kennels at a local dog facility, but that only covers a small portion of my expenses.

That’s why I’m asking for help from sponsors and supporters who believe in young athletes chasing their dreams. Every penny raised will go directly toward clinics, gear, and travel — nothing else.
