Again we are reaching out with heavy hearts and a deep hope that together, we can support a family who means so much to all of us. Many of you know little Augie’s journey has already been incredibly tough — and while his liver transplant was a success, he is now facing another life-saving battle.
Augie urgently needs a bone marrow transplant, which must be done in Sydney. This will involve intensive chemotherapy and radiation, followed by 100 days in isolation. His family will need to remain in Sydney for at least six months to support him through every step of this fight.
During this time, his parents Dre and Cin will be unable to work as they care for their girls and stay by Augie’s side. The emotional, physical, and financial strain is overwhelming — and this is where our community can make a life-changing difference.
If you are able, please consider donating.
No amount is too small. Every contribution helps lift a burden, bring comfort, and give Augie the fighting chance he deserves.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and love.
Together, we can help this beautiful family through the hardest chapter of their lives.

Just three weeks ago, 7 year old Augie was a happy, energetic little boy with a cheeky grin that lit up every room. His joyful nature and infectious smile never fail to make those around him happy. He’s the much loved youngest of three children, with two older sisters Elise and Helena who absolutely adore him.
Then, without warning, Augie became jaundiced and unwell. He was rushed to Perth Children’s Hospital, where he has since endured every test under the sun and a number of grueling treatments that have not worked. Despite the efforts of his incredible medical team, Augie’s liver is now failing.
He’s in ICU and is being urgently transferred to Sydney for a life-saving liver transplant. The brutal reality is that no one really knows why. With top oncologists, gastroenterologist and haematologists all stumped and seeking advice from experts nationally to get much needed answers.
This is every parent’s worst nightmare, a devastating, uncertain time filled with terrifying questions and long stretches of heart-breaking silence. Through it all, Augie’s family and his friends are holding on to hope.
What we are asking: Augie and his family need our help. The emotional and financial toll is overwhelming, with the cost of emergency travel, time away from work, accommodation in Sydney, and simply being by Augie’s side as he fights his biggest challenge. As their village, we are stepping in and asking for you to please donate, then please share this page and keep this beautiful boy in your thoughts and prayers.
Let’s surround Augie, his sisters, and parents Jacinta and Dre with love, strength, and support during this challenging time. We love you Augie. Keep fighting.
Update:
Augie is off to Sydney on the Royal Flying Doctors. Thank you for those that have made donations and sending their love. You're all amazing!! It's going to be a long road a head but he is going to get the best care.
