Our son, August Bergman, has been nominated by his reading teacher who recognizes him as a student with scholastic merit, maturity, and strength of character needed to represent his Middle School for this Unique Leadership Program. Through academic achievement and demonstrating leadership potential August has been nominated to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference an Envision by World Strides Conference to be held this summer, 2021, in Washington, D.C. This conference will prepare him to become a better leader for his future path.

He will learn Goal Setting, Public Speaking, Complex Problem Solving, and Building Effective Teams. They will focus on Collaboration, Time-Management, and Self Management. The week long conference will take him to the White House, Franklin Roosevelt and Martin Luther King Jr. Memorials, Capitol Hill, Exhibition Hall, Emancipation Hall, a Simulation of: My Day in Office, National Museum of American History, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and Korean War Veterans Memorial, and the Maryland Science Center.

We ask for your assistance with Travel and affording the program which will cost $3000 dollars. This is an opportunity of his life time. He is so appreciative and excited to go! Please help make this happen for August.
